These Terms of Service govern your use of SLN Pest Control Services. By accessing our website, booking our services, or allowing our technicians on your property, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before proceeding. These terms comply with Indian laws including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable state regulations.
1. Service Availability & Scheduling
All pest control services are subject to technician availability and weather conditions suitable for treatment.
We reserve the right to reschedule services due to:
- Monsoon rains or extreme weather conditions that may affect treatment efficacy
- Emergency pest control situations requiring immediate attention
- Equipment maintenance or safety concerns
- Technician illness or unavailability
- Festival seasons and national holidays as per Indian calendar
- Local municipal restrictions or guidelines
We will provide at least 2 hours notice for any rescheduling when possible, or immediate notice in case of emergencies.
Please Note: Priority or emergency services—including early morning slots, same-day requests, or appointments outside standard hours—may incur an additional service fee. We aim to accommodate urgent needs promptly while ensuring service quality and technician safety.
2. Client Responsibilities
To ensure effective pest control treatment, clients must:
- Provide accurate information about pest problems, property size, and access requirements
- Ensure clear access to all treatment areas including terraces, balconies, and storage areas
- Remove or cover food items, utensils, and pet supplies as instructed
- Keep pets and children away from treatment areas during and after service
- Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions provided by technicians
- Notify us of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may be affected by treatments
- Maintain sanitary conditions to prevent re-infestation
- Provide valid identification for GST billing and compliance purposes
- Inform about any water storage tanks or overhead tanks that require treatment
3. Treatment Procedures & Safety
Our pest control treatments are conducted using CIB&RC (Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee) approved products and methods. Clients agree to:
- Allow technicians to inspect all necessary areas for proper pest identification
- Follow all safety instructions including re-entry times and ventilation requirements
- Not tamper with or remove bait stations, traps, or other treatment equipment
- Report any adverse reactions or concerns immediately
- Understand that multiple treatments may be required for complete pest elimination
- Comply with Ministry of Environment guidelines for pesticide usage
- Allow treatment of common areas in apartments/societies with proper consent
4. Property Access & Security
Clients must ensure technicians have safe and adequate access to treatment areas:
- Be present during initial consultation and treatment (or designate an authorized representative aged 18+)
- Provide keys, codes, or other access methods for scheduled services
- Secure valuable items and ensure safe working conditions
- Notify us of any security systems, aggressive pets, or safety hazards
- Obtain necessary permissions from housing society/apartment management
- Ensure compliance with building security protocols
- Provide visitor passes or gate passes as required by residential complexes
5. Payment Terms & Pricing
Payment terms and conditions as per Indian business practices:
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made
- Accepted payment methods: cash, cheque, UPI, digital wallets, credit/debit cards, NEFT/RTGS
- All prices are inclusive of applicable GST (Goods and Services Tax) as per current rates
- GST invoice will be provided for all transactions above ₹200
- Service contracts require payment according to the agreed schedule
- Additional treatments beyond the original scope may incur extra charges
- Late payment fees may apply to overdue accounts (18% per annum as per RBI guidelines)
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days written notice
- Annual contracts eligible for seasonal discounts and priority scheduling
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling policies:
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance via phone or WhatsApp
- Same-day cancellations may incur a service call fee of ₹500
- No-shows will be charged a minimum service fee of ₹1,000
- Emergency pest situations may require immediate rescheduling of routine services
- Contract services can be cancelled with 30 days written notice
- Refunds for prepaid services will be processed within 7-10 working days
- Festival season bookings require 48 hours advance notice for changes
7. Service Guarantees & Warranties
Our service guarantee covers:
- Free re-treatment within 30 days if targeted pests return (with proof of continued infestation)
- Guarantee is void if client fails to follow post-treatment instructions
- Guarantee does not cover new infestations or different pest species
- Seasonal pests (monsoon insects, termites during rainy season) may require ongoing treatment programs
- Structural repairs or modifications are not included in pest control services
- Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) include quarterly visits and complaint-based services
8. Liability & Insurance
SLN Pest Control Services maintains comprehensive insurance coverage as per Indian regulations:
- Public liability insurance coverage up to ₹10 lakhs per incident
- We are not liable for pre-existing property damage or structural issues
- Liability is limited to the cost of services provided or ₹50,000, whichever is lower
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages are excluded as per Indian Contract Act
- Claims must be reported within 7 days of service completion with photographic evidence
- We are not responsible for damage caused by pest activity or structural defects
- Client assumes responsibility for following safety instructions and post-treatment care
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, government orders) exempt us from liability
9. Consumer Rights & Dispute Resolution
As per Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- Receive services that meet the promised quality and specifications
- Be informed about service charges, terms, and conditions before booking
- Seek compensation for deficiency in services or unfair trade practices
- File complaints with District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
- Approach Consumer Helpline (1915) for grievance redressal
- Request written estimate for services above ₹5,000
For dispute resolution, we encourage initial discussion with our customer service team before pursuing legal remedies.
10. Brand Protection & Prohibition of False Claims
STRICT PROHIBITION ON MISREPRESENTATION AND FALSE CLAIMS:
- Mandatory Pre-Communication: Before making any public statements, reviews, complaints, or claims about our services, clients MUST contact us directly through official channels
- Zero Tolerance for False Claims: Any false, misleading, or defamatory statements about SLN Pest Control Services will not be tolerated under any circumstances
- Platform Restrictions: Clients are strictly prohibited from posting false information, fake reviews, or misleading content on any platform including but not limited to:
- Google Reviews, Justdial, Sulekha, UrbanPro
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels
- Consumer forums and complaint websites
- Local community groups and society WhatsApp groups
- Mandatory Contact Requirement: Before posting any negative review or complaint anywhere, clients must:
- Contact our customer service team first
- Provide us with 48 hours to respond and resolve the issue
- Document all communication attempts
- Legal Consequences: Violation of these terms may result in:
- Legal action under Defamation laws (IPC Section 499-502)
- Claims under Information Technology Act, 2000
- Damages claim up to ₹5,00,000 for reputation loss
- Immediate termination of all services
- Right to Response: We reserve the right to publicly respond to any false claims with factual information and documentation
- Documentation: All service interactions are documented and may be used as evidence in legal proceedings

Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by:
- Laws of India and the State of Karnataka
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Applicable environmental and pesticide regulations
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
